Israeli attacks force children's hospital in Gaza out of service
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Monday that both the al-Rantisi Children's Hospital and the Eye Hospital were rendered out of service, following continued targeting by Israeli forces.
Israeli forces have killed at least 37 Palestinians in Gaza since dawn on Monday, including 30 in Gaza City.
Last week, the ministry said the Israeli army struck Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital three times while 80 patients were inside.
Israel has killed at least 65,300 Palestinians since it started its genocidal war in October 2023.
The United Nations' International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory has concluded that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Israel has also imposed an aid blockade in the region, leading to the death of at least 442 Palestinians, including 147 children.
More than half a million people in Gaza are experiencing famine, marked by widespread starvation, according to the UN's Integrated Food Security Phase Classification.
