  • Approximately 270,000 residents of Gaza City have been forced to leave their homes under the pressure of Israeli bombardment since the launch of a deadly operation in mid-August, the Gaza government media office reported.

  • Gaza’s Health Ministry has condemned Israel’s attempts to forcibly expel Palestinians from Gaza City, warning that hundreds of thousands remain trapped under siege.

  • Germany’s culture minister has criticised threats by European countries to boycott next year’s Eurovision if Israel is allowed to take part, calling the move an attempt to politicise a cultural event.
