Israeli captives' families accuse Netanyahu of 'sentencing his citizens to death'
A mother of one of the Israeli captives held in Gaza has criticised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for endangering the lives of their children.
Matan Zangauker's mother, Einav, said in a statement near the premier's residence in Jerusalem that he is a "prime minister who sentences his citizens to death".
"We are here in front of the home of the prime minister of abandonment, the man who decided to exploit our soldiers' patriotism to execute his big political problem: our children, my Matan," she said.
"The blood of our children is for him a political tool to cling to his seat. If we do not rise up against him, he will declare eternal war on us. Netanyahu will forever be remembered as a murderer for the sake of preserving power."
