For sixth time, US vetoes United Nations Gaza ceasefire resolution

The US on Thursday vetoed for the sixth time a United Nations Security council resolution demanding an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, and that Israel lift all restrictions on the delivery of aid into the enclave.

The resolution received 14 votes in favor - all ten of the rotating members, and four of the permanent members: the UK, France, Russia, and China.
