Qatar calls for 'response from entire region' against Israel

Prime Minister of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Tuesday said that the nation reserves its right to respond to Israel and will not tolerate any violations of its sovereignty.

Addressing the press, he said that Qatar will take a comprehensive approach to respond to the Israeli assault and deter future attacks.

“Today, we have reached a turning point for there to be a response from the entire region against such barbaric conduct,” he said.

Qatar earlier had strongly condemned what it described as a "cowardly Israeli attack", confirming the strikes had hit residential buildings housing several members of Hamas’s political bureau.
