Former Chief of Staff says Netanyahu preparing excuses to reject Trump's plan

Israel's former Chief of Staff Moshe Ya'alon has said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is "preparing excuses" to reject US President Donald Trump's plan, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation has reported.

Leaving the army to suffer for 22 months instead of preparing for the next phase is an irresponsible act, Ya'alon said, adding that Netanyahu prioritised personal and political interests over the interests of the country.
